New students:
You must be fully registered with the University before we can confirm your attendance with Student Finance. Once fully registered (you will have received an email confirming this) your first payment should be in your bank account (as advised to Student Finance) within three to five working days.
 
Returning students:
You need to complete online registration and the first instalment should be in your advised bank account within a couple of days of the start of term.
 
If this does not happen, you should check that they have received a notification letter from Student Finance and an email from the University confirming you are fully registered. If you have not yet received their letter, you need to wait for this. If you have received your letter and the email confirming you are fully registered, or if you are struggling financially, please contact us here.
 
Please note for postgraduates it can take up to three weeks to confirm registration to the SLC due to the increased regulations around PG loans.
