The following items are not permitted in an exam:
· Study notes
· Unauthorised spare or scrap paper
· Unauthorised reference materials
· Mobile phone
· Smart watches
· Pagers
· MP3/MP4 player
· iPod
· Tablet computers
· Laptop computers
· Any other communication device that could connect to the internet
· Personal organisers
· Electronic dictionaries
· Unauthorised calculators (see permitted calculators)
· Any other electronic device (stop watches, timers, headphones, etc.)
· Subject specific translation dictionaries
· Standard translation dictionaries are not permitted if either language is the subject of the exam
· Dictionaries with any notes or annotations will be confiscated and treated as suspected academic misconduct.
