In most cases, an extension of up to 15 days will be granted.
In severe circumstances, a much longer extension can be granted, the length of which would be appropriate to the circumstances of the claim. In such cases, it may be necessary for you to answer a new assessment. This would usually be where feedback has already been issued to the rest of the academic cohort. A dissertation topic on the other hand, would not usually be changed.
