If you attend your graduation ceremony in person and you're eligible for a certificate then you will receive it at the event, soon after crossing the stage.


If you don’t come to graduation, your degree will be conferred in your absence (we call this graduating in absentia).


After the date of your graduation ceremony, we will post your certificate by Royal Mail tracked to your home address shown in NottinghamHub. Please check this is up-to-date and that we have a current phone number and personal email address for you. If it's not please submit an enquiry to let us know the correct details. If you live in a country which uses PO Boxes, please check that this is also included in your address.  Please note for Winter 2023 ceremonies, certificates for those graduating in-absentia will be posted during January 2024.


If your certificate is being posted outside of the UK, we use the Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed service, you can view the delivery timescales on the Royal Mail website. We post all certificates out shortly after the events.
