We want you to have as much choice as possible but inevitably modules that you choose to take may be concurrently timetabled.

Can your clash be resolved by switching seminar groups?

  • If yes, submit a query to us from the timetabling webpage - make sure you provide the module code for the seminar you want to move, the day and time of the clash, we will then look to move this for you. All changes will be automatically reflected on your timetable within three working days.
Is the clash caused by an optional module choice?
  • If yes, then you may need to change your optional module. This can be done via the online module enrolment form or if you need advice about your options in person at a Student Service Centre. During module enrolment periods, you can speak to our module enrolment team on live chat between 10am and 4pm, Monday to Friday. Please note, requesting a particular module does not guarantee you a place on your selected module(s). After the Module Enrolment window has closed we will check that the modules meet your course regulations and there are sufficient spaces available.
Is your clash caused by two restricted modules?
  • If yes, then you may need to amend your restricted option choice. This can be done on the online module enrolment form, or if you need advice about your options, in person at a Student Service Centre. During module enrolment periods, you can speak to our module enrolment team on live chat between 10am and 4pm, Monday to Friday.
Is your clash caused by two core modules?
  • If yes, please let us know as soon as possible so we can investigate this for you. The best way to do this is by submitting a query to us from the timetabling webpage , giving details of the modules which clash so the team can look into this for you.
