There are three ways to view your timetable, all accessible via the Teaching Timetable homepage:

  • The MyNottingham app which can be downloaded from your phone or tablet's app store: you can download your timetable to outlook from here - click on the 'Outlook - calendars' tile to do so.
  • The master online timetable is available on the University website. This is where you can view module timetables as well as your own personal timetable. In case of an inconsistency between sources or missing teaching sessions, web timetables will be the definitive source of timetabling information. Please ensure you have checked your web timetable before submitting requests.
  • MyCal is a UoN service which allows you to add a standardised iCal file containing your teaching timetable to the online calendar of your choice.

You'll need your main University username and password to view your timetable. New students will normally have this once they have completed pre-registration.

This webpage contains four short guidance videos to explain the codes  your timetable, help show you how you find your timetable and check an individual module timetable and show you what to do if you can't see your timetable.

Troubleshooting:
On all devices you will need to enable pop-ups for this site which may be indicated by a "no entry" symbol in the top right corner of your browser.

How to enable your pop-ups:
Google Chrome
Safari
Microsoft Edge
Mozilla Firefox

In case of not being able to access your timetable, it is possible that some content on your student record needs to be updated and we will need to investigate this - submit a query to us from the timetabling webpage so we can do this for you.

Once changes are made to your student record, your timetable will be updated. This usually happens within five working days. If after this time your change is still not visible, please submit a query to us from the timetabling webpage so that we can follow it up for you.

If there is a discrepancy between what is shown on the master online timetable and MyCal this sometimes occurs due to a six-eight hours delay in the information updating to MyCal when a change has been made. This should update automatically; you do not need to let us know about it unless this continues for more than 24 hours.
