Many UK universities are also removing the option for Remote Study and this is intrinsically linked to the student experience of being on campus.

Studying with your peers, meeting with your lecturers and tutors, and taking part in the extra-curricular elements of campus life are valuable to your studies and development.

In addition, the period of time that UK government (UK Visas and Immigration) will allow students to study remotely while under immigration sponsorship is also coming to an end in the near future.

UKVI will only allow universities to maintain immigration sponsorship for students to study remotely up to 6th April 2022.

Any student who is not in the UK by this time will need to have immigration sponsorship withdrawn and, where they study a 12 month Masters programme or a course of less than 12 months, they would no longer be eligible for the Graduate Visa.
