Following the annual review of the Student Contract, we would like to remind students of the requirement to re-register at the start of each academic year, including during a thesis pending period, where eligible.
Registration during your thesis pending period is mandatory (effective from 1 August 2025) and is not optional. By registering, you will continue to have full access to supervision and university resources to support you in completing your thesis.
Please note that registration during this period may allow you to qualify for council tax exemption; however, you should always check with your local council to confirm your eligibility.
