UK health services are quite complicated and often very different to health services in other parts of the world.
Your visa status determines which health services you can access and which services you will have to pay for.
Students on a Student Route Visa (previously called a Tier 4 Visa) will have paid the health surcharge and will have the same access to health services as British citizens. Students on a Short Stay Visa may have to pay for some health services.
