The name that will be printed on your degree certificate is the one that we hold on your official student record. Your degree certificate will show your name in full, including any middle names.
 
If you need to change your name on your student record, please see the Student Services webpage to view details on how to do this and what (if any) evidence you’ll need to provide. If you are expecting to register with an external body following your graduation (for a regulated profession, for example, health and social care, architecture, education, or law) the name on your university record will likely need to match your legal name. 

Before graduation
Please be aware there is a deadline to change your name before graduation. This is to allow us time to print your certificate and transcript before the ceremony. The deadline to update your details prior to graduation is stated in your invitation email and on our Graduation webpages.
