When registration opens, students have the option to request to defer their graduation to a later event.
Please note that deferring graduation means that you will not receive a certificate until you graduate; this may impact your applications for jobs and further study. You may only defer your graduation no more than twice.
If you wish to defer your summer 2026 graduation, you must request this by June 29 2026 at 12pm Noon, If you haven't deferred before this time, you will graduate ‘in absentia’ unless you have already registered to attend.
